As part of our intervention programs, we offer informal practical skills development to equip children with essential livelihood skills.
Through technical and vocational training, we aim to provide children with the opportunity to learn skills such as carpentry and joinery, tailoring, masonry, metalwork, hair plaiting/barbering, and food vending.
These skills serve as transformative platforms for young adults, enabling them to gain valuable practical knowledge and expertise.
We believe practical skills development not only promotes personal responsibility but also prepares children for future employment or entrepreneurship opportunities. By acquiring these skills, children are better equipped to secure a sustainable livelihood for themselves and
their families.
Through informal setups and sessions, we address issues that impact the children and work collaboratively with them to develop tailor-made, community-based solutions.
These sessions provide a holistic approach to their development, focusing on personal growth, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
We are committed to creating opportunities for children to develop practical skills that are relevant to their local context.
We believe by investing in their vocational and life skills development, we can empower them to overcome challenges and enhance their prospects for a brighter future.
